DESIGNER OUTRAGE!!!

So, what am I outraging about today? I was watching TV and I encountered a commercial that mocked a place for selling designer glasses. Then I thought to myself “how far is this from the truth?”. There are lots of places out there that, not only sell designer glasses, but designer everything. I understand designer clothes, but designer socks? Designer pets? WHAT’S THE DEAL WITH THAT?!!! I’m not saying don’t buy the stuff, I’m not saying the stuff is stupid. All I’m saying is that 9 out of 10 times, it is USELESS!!! I recently bought 2 pairs of gym shoes at $8.99. I could not be more happier with those shoes. They’re made from the same material as very expensive swoosh brand shoes. They’re probably made by the same people in the same sweat shop in Taiwan. So what are you paying for? A little logo. $50.00 more for a little logo! If you want to buy that stuff, ok, go ahead. But what really outrages me is the importance that society places on these brands. I can recall many a times that some one in school was made to feel inadequate because the other kids laughed at him for not wearing designer brands. I don’t believe that children can be cruel. I believe children are cruel because it’ what parents teach them. So, if children mock less fortunate children, it’s something that Mommy and Daddy do as well. So, like I said. If you can afford and want to wear all that designer garbage, go right ahead. Just don’t knock others who can’t afford them.

LATE NIGHT OUTRAGE!!!

I’d just like to state my position before going ahead with this outrage: I don’t approve of any violence in this world and it brings me no joy, either. You’ll see what I’m talking about.

How sad is it when we turn on the evening news or the nightly news before going to bed and hear a mother or a close family member mourning the child that was just gunned down? It’s one of the most horrifying experiences for any parent to go through. However, I do believe in looking at things from multiple points of view. The people that commit these crimes should rot in jail for the rest of their lives. The death sentence is stupid. It doesn’t bring back your dead loved ones. But lets analyze this from a different perspective. Most of these shootings occur in the wee hours of the night, while you and I are home sleeping soundly. So, the parents don’t exactly know where their children are. Why not? Seems to me that parents should be aware who their underage son or daughter are around. Don’t suffocate them, but try to know they’re associations. It’s easy to pin the blame on others, but never on ones self. Parents, want to avoid being that crying mom on TV? Keep a close relationship with your children. Or how about this, want to avoid being the parents of the 16 year-old schmuck convicted of murder? Spend time with your kids. No matter how much time and how many shifts you work, all parents should spend time with their children, regardless of age. Keep your eyes on your kids and you can avoid having to outlive them. And as for the cowards that are only big men when armed with a pistol, you’ll get yours. You can’t avoid justice. It’ll find you. Someday, it’ll find you.

CUSTODY OUTRAGE!!!

Well, I’m sure by now that anyone not living under a rock has at least a vague idea who Chris Crocker is. Something interesting that caught my attention in his embarrassing rant about Britney is that he refers to her as a good mother. Really? Then, why are her kids living with their dad? I’m not here to beat a dead horse even more, but one thing that does upset me is a mother who blatantly ignores her kids. What is wrong with these women? I don’t care if you don’t want the child, it’s still your responsibility. Even you didn’t want any kids then GET UP OFF YOUR BACK OR YOUR KNEES OR WHEREVER THE HELL YOU WERE!!! How many times do we hear that a child was found in the dumpster or in a garbage bag? What about those lowlife moms who leaves her kids with nothing to eat except an old box of rotten cereal? I can hear everyone saying now “well, what about the deadbeat dad’s”? Well, I think the phrase pretty much sums it up: DEADBEAT!!! I respect any man that recognized his need to care for his progeny. But to all those crackhead moms and lowlife dads, let me just say this: YOU DISGUST ME!!! People who ignore their children are the worst kind of human beings alive. Worse than murderers, rapists, and any other scum on this planet. Why do I believe that? A rapist has a desire to fulfill, as does a murderer. But a mother has no right or reason to abandon her child. A father has no right or reason to deny another human being that he helped come into this cruel, cold world. I don’t wish horrible things on other human beings, but don’t expect any sympathy when you wake up in the gutter.
