I know, I know. Two days without a post. “Are you getting lazy”? Why yes, yes I am. But I do apologize. I know it’s called the daily outrage and I’ve been slacking. Don’t worry, there’s plenty of outrage to go on for years and years. So, what’s on the plate today? A couple of weeks ago I complained about people who have loud cell phone conversations. Today, I’m particularly bothered by people who are just loud. How many of us have heard of using an “indoor” voice? It comes in handy a lot. I know I raise my voice to share my outrage, but I’m not constantly cranked up to above loud 24/7. One particular example: the other night I was in a room that was kind of small with some people. We were all using an “indoor” voice because the acoustics in the room made a whisper sound pretty loud. Except, one guy didn’t get it. He talked so loud, he might as well have been using a megaphone. I mean, my goodness, IT HURT MY EARS!!! IMAGINE IF I TALKED LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME!!! There’s a place and time for everything, but I hardly believe a small room with an echo is a bad place to work out our vocal chords. Please, if you’re ever in a small room and everyone else is talking in a low voice, FOLLOW THEIR EXAMPLE BEFORE YOU BECOME THE LONE OUTCAST AND PEOPLE TALK ABOUT YOU AFTER YOU LEAVE!!! On a separate note, I know I got the BCS Garbage Bowl (I belief there should be a playoff system) wrong. But to those that have read my previous postings, I am openly supporting the New England Patriots in their bid to go 19-0. Let’s beat those Jags!!!
PUBLIC OUTRAGE!!!
How many of us have been at kind of a quiet place, like the library? A lot of us, I’m sure. Most of these places are government agencies like the DMV or something like that. Well, aside from the poor customer service by people who obviously hate their job and the eternally long lines, what could possibly upset me about a place like that? THE PEOPLE!!! I really get bother by these yo-yo’s who talk on the phone and make sure they talk loud enough for everyone else to hear their conversation. I DON’T CARE WHAT SHE SAID!!! STOP YELLING ON THE PHONE!!! What happened to being decent and somewhat intelligent? I understand that you might want to talk on the phone to cure the boredom, but don’t share it with everyone. No one cares about your personal life, and if your purpose is to let everyone know what you’ll be doing later, GET SOME FRIENDS TO TALK TO !!! I DON’T CARE!!! Why would I want everyone to know that me and my lady are eating dinner at the buffet? I know people don’t want to hear me, so why do these twits think anyone cares? I’ve gotten my share of phone calls in a public place but you know what I do? I quietly talk if I have to, otherwise I say “I’ll call you back”. How simple is that? So, the next time you’re at an office and you’re buddy or your girl call you, shut the hell up!
